Social workers of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts receive personal protection kits

3,000 protective masks, 13,000 protective gloves, and 700 bottles of disinfectant were handed over to the Luhansk and Donetsk Centers for Social Services.

The kits will help improve the safety of social workers in the two Oblasts.
A sufficient supply of high-quality protective equipment is essential, because the workers are in regular face-to-face interaction with other people. Changing to remote services is not possible.
GIZ provided the kits as part of the project “Developing service structures and training capacities for psychosocial support in Eastern Ukraine”.

The kits were provided to almost 300 social workers in eastern Ukraine. They include safety masks, gloves and disinfectant.
